My brother got Married!

Adam tied the knot with his bride, Ashley, on August 21, 2010. They got married in Bend at the Awbrey Glen Golf Club, Saturday. James was a groomsman, Teagan was the ring bearer, and I was a bridesmaid. We all had a nice time and it was fun to be able to share their day. Teagan, however, stole the show when he stopped to smell the flowers along the aisle.
Congratulations you guys!

Nice cake.

I asked Adam to get a picture of us, I guess he was nervous 'cause he missed half of his face.

James stuck his finger in Teagan's mouth, which he then bit. James yelled, and Teagan laughed.

Teagan tossed the pillow (no the rings were not attached) and strolled on down but got distracted....

He stopped and smelled the flowers at each row! Super cute, he stole the show!

Last Morning in Bend

The morning we left to come home, we went to Starbucks in Bend with my dad before leaving. I caught a few sweet moments with Teagan and my dad playing. My dad was wearing his new T-Shirt that says,"Grandpas Rule."

Big smiles!

Hat!

Ohhh, look who stole Grandpa's drink!

Day 4 in Bend

Today was our last full day here in Bend, and wouldn't you know it we had coast-like weather, grey, cloudy, and cool. Not much fun when you have a toddler with pent up energy. Our day started off slowly and after Teagan woke up from his nap we found that the weather was starting to look up.

This is what I found when I went in to get Teagan out of his crib after his nap.

A happy boy ready to get out.

My dad has this great fish tank that Teagan loves to look at.

Soon after Teagan woke up from his nap, Justin from Aquatic Solutions came by to add some new creatures to the fish tank and to do some regular maintenance. My dad trusts and relays on Justin to look after his fish while he goes back and forth to the coast or fishing who knows where. If you live in the Bend area and need a fish guy Justin is the person to call: (541) 350-6279.

Teagan could hardly eat his snack, he was so curious watching what Justin was doing.
(Notice, Teagan is eating Gold Fish crackers, appropriate right.)

Still curious with drink in hand.
After Justin left the weather did in deed improve and we headed out to Drake Park to look at the ducks and Geese.

Teagan following Grandpa Lee.

"Look at the bird right here!"

"Wait for me...."

Teagan and Grandpa holding hands, so that he does not go into Mirror Pond.

Look what's coming!

Does he see them?

Yes he does!

Ducks, Geese, and even baby ducklings.

We did end up enjoying ourselves at the park. Then we headed up to the Farmers Market and strolled around downtown before heading back to the house. We have done a lot this trip and look forward to coming back and exploring more new things.

2nd Half of the 2nd Day in Bend

After the big morning at the coffee shop and the park, Teagan needed a much needed nap. After his nap my dad and I took Teagan to the High Desert Museum outside of Bend and then we all went on a hick up Benham Falls.

Some nice people saw I was taking a picture of my dad and Teagan, the above picture, and asked if I wanted them to take our group picture, so here it is.

If you look carefully below Teagan's right foot, you can see a very brave chipmunk.

Teagan watching him.

This chipmunk actually jumped up into my purse which was hanging from the push stroller, I guess he knew I carry Cheerios, so we have him a few.

He wanted more from my dad.

Two beautiful big Bald Eagles, I never really knew how big the are, but the are huge!

Teagan squatting down to get a better look at the Porcupine.

RUN!

Ponderosa trees were throughout the outside portion of the museum.

Oh a pine needle.

After the museum we wandered down the road to Benham Falls. It was about a 1/2 mile hike up to the top.

I don't recommend swimming, this is,"drowning water," as my dad would always say to us.

Teagan checking out the water.

This is how Teagan hikes....

...in comfort!
