Male Bonding

Yummy, Bananas!

Kiss!

Looking....

Big cranes!
This crane is on a barge on the Columbia River down at the Port Docks in Astoria. It was transferring material onto another barge, this crane was moving anchors. We watched the men work and organize this for about an hour. I'd imagine it is very dangerous, not to mention doing it is the rain and wet surfaces.

Another barge and boat helping out. James thought the equipment was for dredging the rivers.

Fun Times After Dinner

James and Teagan were in such a silly mood after dinner. They were playing with this blanket. James hid underneath it, while Teagn would pull it off of him. He thought it was so funny. Take a look.

Walking Baby!

From Monday to Friday we have a walker! When I went to pick Teagan up from Ms. Debbie's (daycare ladie) she told me that he had walking from one end of the kitchen to the other. I knew he was getting close. He was taking a few steps here and there, so last night we had him walk and caught it on video. Take a look!

Starbucks and Sunsets

This afternoon Teagan and I met Aunt Jane at Starbucks. We had a nice time chatting and she had fun reading to Teagan. On my way back home there was an amazing sunset. It was the only time there was sun today, there has been a storm the last 24 hours, blowing and raining to beat the band! I was surprised to see such a great sunset.

Aunt Jane, or Auntie Gram, and Teagan reading his Trucks book.

Smile!

Looking and listening.

Yum!
Something for everyone on this blowing wet day.

This book is a slider book, where you can slide/flip up part of the page to see what is underneath. Such as, there is a picture of a Firefighter and once you slide the page, there would be a Fire Truck underneath.

Sunset Photos

I thought it looked wonderful so went to the column which sits on a hill that overlooks the area and took these.

Sometimes a camera can't do much justice for what you see in real life, but these will have to do.

The scene would keep changing, so as I was driving back down the hill I took these.

I had to be careful driving up and down this hill, because I saw three deer.

Sunsets like these makes you realize how special you are to be alive.

Soon to be....

........WALKING!
Teagan is very close to be walking on his own. He has taken a few steps here and there, but the other night we caught it on video after many attempts. he was starting to get tired as you will see, but we were able to get a few. While we were down in California for the holidays Grandma Connie and James were able to see him take a few steps into my arms. Here is video from the other night at our house.

Coffee Girl

We haven't been to our favorite coffee place, Coffee Girl, in quite some time now. So yesterday, Saturday we decided to go, and invited Sheryl, or Grandma Tapir as Teagan knows her as, to join us. She has been so busy working on her online gift shop, I told her to take a break and join us for a bit. I have been singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" for a while now, so Teagan has been learning too. He will put his hands up on his head when I say "head", it is pretty cute. I was able to snap a few photos from this morning.

This is an old photo from Sheryl, of her Cappuccino. The girls at Coffee Girl do such a nice job of making designs in your drinks. It is so creative and fun!

Teagan smiling at Grandma Tapir.

Teagan holding his own cup!

Both Teagan and James drinking out of their cups!

Sheryl was holding Teagan while James was tickling his knees!

Teagan with Grandma Tapir who is about to tickle him!

Loma Serena Stables

Teagan and I took some time on New Years Eve to have lunch with James, and to visit the horse stables that are down the hill from Grandma Kathleen's house. This was Teagan's first time seeing horses and he was able to pet them. He was very observant, taking it all in. He did great up until the last horse, a white one, at that point he basically freaked out! I don't know why, but he practically climbed up James' shoulder!!!!

James and Teagan down at the stables.

Teagan checking out the first horse.

He was feeling confident enough to reach out to touch him.

Here is the next horse we saw.

James gave him a scratch on the cheek.

Mini horses!
There were two.

Just Teagan's size!

A boy and his dad at the horse stables.
The End!

Pedro's Mexican Restaurant

While we were down in California, we saw our good friend Jamie and few times. James and Jamie have been friends since they were little. We love to visit with her. She wanted to go to their favorite Mexican restaurant, Pedro's. We had fun while we were there, and Teagan was in a fun mood.

James, Teagan making a funny face, and Jamie.

A more serious expression from Teagan, with James and Jamie still looking fabulous!

Me and Jamie.

Head bonk.

Caught Teagan chewing funny.

Oh what a funny boy.

Look at that big toothy smile!

James and Teagan.

Our happy boy.
