Teagan Rolls Over!

On Friday I witnessed Teagan rolling over from his tummy to his back for the first time! So today I wanted to show James, and to see if he would do it again, and he did! James was able to capture it on his blackberry! Even Kiely (our dog) participated. It is a little loud, and we were excited but take a look! (you might have to click twice on the play button, it is the grey triangle, on the lower left corner of the video box)

Teagan's 6 Month Photos

On Memorial Day we we in Portland to go to Babies R Us to get Teagan's 6 month photos taken. I can't believe he is soon to be 6 months old (on the 2nd of June)! Ya know you(me, really) try to make it all perfect, pick out the outfits for the family,(such a chore to get us all in outfits, now if you know James, you know he is always in shorts! Even in the snow! The day before I told him that we are wearing jeans to be matchy matchy, fine, more to come wait for it...) make sure Teagan has had a bath,(not like you can tell by a picture, but hey, it makes me feel better knowing that he is clean...temporarily, make sure he has been fed and then goes down for a nap before his appointment at noon. So he got a bath the night before, feed him in the morning, but then would not go down for a nap....perfect. It was 11:30 and we have to be there at 11:45 to check in, and he is hungry, so I give him a quick go at the boob then we are off...as we are all in the car I happen to look over at James, no jeans...shorts! I said to him,"What are you doing in your shorts? You are supposed to be in your jeans!!!!" What does he respond..."I've been wearing these all morning, you never said anything!" Oh my god!Like I was paying attention to what you are wearing, I was trying to get myself ready and get the baby ready! Oh well, I was the only one in the jeans, while the boys where in Khakis, and I even had brought Khakis with me...anyhow I think that the pictures turned out really nice. Teagan was getting tired towards the end where he is in his little white onesie, but they are still cute.

Mother's Day

These were taken on Mother's Day, my first one! My mom tried to tell me Happy Mother's Day last year, but I thought it was too weird, and told her to wait 'till this year. So this was my first official Mother's Day! James got me a nice digital picture frame, set it up for me and loaded pictures on it, thanks babe, love you!

I know it's a little dark, but here is me and Teagan.

Love the outfit, shoes an all!

Big eyes!

James & Teagan

James had been down in California for a friends wedding, and we were glad to have him home. This was the first time that he was away from us, since having Teagan. The three of us went out to Coffee Girl, on the 6th of May, for breakfast and this is where I snapped these precious photos of James and Teagan.

Hold on

Grin

"Get me out of my seat Daddy!"

Smiles

" Hi, Daddy!"

New Jumper

My mom thought that since Teagan is into standing so much, that she would get him a jumper. This way he can get his exercise and I guess as babies we liked it, so she came down this weekend and brought it with her! She said this was in birthday present(5 months!) My mom and I read the directions and put it up then put Teagan in it to see how he liked it.

His little feet hit the floor and his head sticks out the top.

Hum, getting used to it.

Wooo, a little off balance.

Hey, what is that up there?

Pig-N-Pancake

My family has been going to the Pig-N-Pancake, in Astoria, forever! My mom even went there while she was in labor with my brother, Adam, to get a cup of coffee before she had to have hospital food! It's a local breakfast favorite! I love their strawberry crepes and crispy bacon! Their pancakes are so soft, they practically melt in your mouth! Teagan and I met up with my dad and Sheryl last weekend for breakfast.

Excited to have pancakes!

Kirk and Heidi

My best friend Kirk, and his girlfriend Heidi, came down for Crab Festival weekend. They always make an appearance to great events, and they always make sure to try and meet up with us. They were surprised to see how much Teagan as grown since the last time the visited us. Heidi said last time she was afraid she was going to break him, he was so little. Last time they came was in late December for Christmas, so he has grown quite a bit since then! It was great to see them!

Crab & Seafood Festival

Every year in Astoria they have their annual Crab and Seafood festival, which is more like an arts and wine festival. Last year James was in California and couldn't join me, but this year we went and had an extra guest, Teagan! I am not a big drinker and haven't had a drink since last year, so I told James that I wanted to be able to have some wine. So he packed Teagan in the front pack and he received lots of attention from lots of people! Teagan was dressed appropriately in his crab shirt, thanks to Auntie Jamie! My friend Jen came down for the weekend and we all went out there and met up with lots of our friends! We ended up having a fun time, and even waited in the huge long line for crab bread! Yum! Well worth it!
