Coffe Girl Kathryn Says Goodbye

You know we are such fans of our favorite coffee place, Coffee Girl. Well one of our favorite Coffee Girls', Kathryn, is moving to Seattle. The other night was her going away party down at Ft. George Brewery, one of James' favorite places. It was a nice small gathering with a few local costumers, along with family. Kathryn you will be missed have a great time exploring Seattle!

I have used this photo before from Sheryl, of her Cappuccino, to show what great work these Coffee Girls can do!

Look at that grin, Teagan will miss Kathryn too! They've bonded for many months now!

Here we all are.

First Time at the Park!

Sunday was our first time taking Teagan to the park. We took him to the park that I often play at when I was a child, Tapiola Park in Astoria. Now that Teagan is walking we let him explore the park, the grass, and the wood chips in the play area.

Holding Daddy's hand.

Look how excited Teagan was.

"Hey, another little person like me. Hey wait, I know this little girl, it is Izzy from Ms. Debbie's Daycare! Hi Izzy!"

Onto the wood chips.

Getting into the swing for the first time, with James' help.

James pushed Teagan in the swing.

He loved it!

Going through the tube.

Going down the big slide. He is used to going down a small slide at Ms. Debbie's house, but this was a bit overwhelming for him. He held onto James finger as he went down.

Even Kiely joined us at the park.

As we were sitting on the grass the other kids at the park we screaming, laughing and chasing each other, as kids do, but Teagan kept looking over there to see what all the noise was about.

As we were walking back to the car Teagan found a "treasure", a pine cone!

I'm Behind...

So, I have been behind! Here is a quick update of activities we've been up to the last few weeks.
Starting from February 4th, 2010.

Teagan testing out the durability of the new equipment.

They boys installing a new cable box.

My childhood friend, Maggie, her twin girls, Kennedy and Whitney, turned 2 on the 5th, and we went to their birthday party.

The girls with Jared's Dad.

Whitney in her pretty dress.

Teagan had fun with the balloons.

We love going to the beach as you might have figured out by now. This was from the 7th, and what a pretty day it was, hardly no wind.
James and Teagan walking into the sunset.

Our little family at the beach.

Boys in the sand.

From the morning of the 11th:
Daddy and Teagan time before James went to work.

Valentine's Day:
James is reading the card that "Teagan" got for him.

Cards, chocolate, and a son!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Male Bonding

Yummy, Bananas!

Kiss!

Looking....

Big cranes!
This crane is on a barge on the Columbia River down at the Port Docks in Astoria. It was transferring material onto another barge, this crane was moving anchors. We watched the men work and organize this for about an hour. I'd imagine it is very dangerous, not to mention doing it is the rain and wet surfaces.

Another barge and boat helping out. James thought the equipment was for dredging the rivers.

Fun Times After Dinner

James and Teagan were in such a silly mood after dinner. They were playing with this blanket. James hid underneath it, while Teagn would pull it off of him. He thought it was so funny. Take a look.

Walking Baby!

From Monday to Friday we have a walker! When I went to pick Teagan up from Ms. Debbie's (daycare ladie) she told me that he had walking from one end of the kitchen to the other. I knew he was getting close. He was taking a few steps here and there, so last night we had him walk and caught it on video. Take a look!

Starbucks and Sunsets

This afternoon Teagan and I met Aunt Jane at Starbucks. We had a nice time chatting and she had fun reading to Teagan. On my way back home there was an amazing sunset. It was the only time there was sun today, there has been a storm the last 24 hours, blowing and raining to beat the band! I was surprised to see such a great sunset.

Aunt Jane, or Auntie Gram, and Teagan reading his Trucks book.

Smile!

Looking and listening.

Yum!
Something for everyone on this blowing wet day.

This book is a slider book, where you can slide/flip up part of the page to see what is underneath. Such as, there is a picture of a Firefighter and once you slide the page, there would be a Fire Truck underneath.

Sunset Photos

I thought it looked wonderful so went to the column which sits on a hill that overlooks the area and took these.

Sometimes a camera can't do much justice for what you see in real life, but these will have to do.

The scene would keep changing, so as I was driving back down the hill I took these.

I had to be careful driving up and down this hill, because I saw three deer.

Sunsets like these makes you realize how special you are to be alive.
