Today our baby is 4 months old, already! Aahhh, where is the time going? Teagan is a wonderful baby! Very content and doesn't cry too much. If he does, I usually know what the problem is. He is fitting into size 1 diapers and 3 months clothing, he still looks like a newborn to most people that don't know him. But to us he is getting big! He is getting so strong, wanting to stand up while we are holding him, he doesn't like to be burped sitting down anymore, he wants to stand, which can be challenging. It has been great, for the past month Teagan really has been smiling at us! Wow, is that a great feeling! The morning time is when he feels the best, very animated! He has found his hand/thumb, and sometimes trys to suck on it at night,but usually takes his pacifier. We will wake up in the middle of the night hearing a sucking noise and he is trying to find his thumb while slobbering all over his hand and face. Speaking of night time, we usually put him down to bed at 8pm and he has been sleeping through the night 'til 7-7:30am ish! Yeah for us, however, my boobs don't always agree!
This morning we met my dad out at Coffee Girl, and they were able to have some Grandpa and Teagan time. Then at 1:30pm he had his 4 month doctors appointment. This means shots....refer to the 2 month old check up for reactions from the shots. Needless to say, he wasn't thrilled about getting them. This time he got 2 injections and 1 oral. Oral one was no problem, it was the other two he wasn't so happy about. They weighed him and he is up to 13lbs 4oz, and he is 23 3/4inches long. The doctor said he is in the normal range now for is age. Yeah!

ReplyDeleteIt seems like Teagan looks even older than he did last week! Happy 4 month birthday! He's 1/3 the way to a year! That's crazy.
